Sunday went fairly well, I thought. Started off quite badly in that I had trouble getting used to shooting in the jacket again. Everything felt off somehow. Shot like that for an hour but it wouldn’t settle down. Matt then changed my rifle setup again – dropped the sights by taking away the 4mm raiser blocks and dropped the cheekpiece a bit to realign my eye with the sights, and straightened up the buttplate to give better grip on the top end and also to put the rifle back on target in the zero position. It’s a bit closer to mainstream shooting now, but I’ve lost my upright head position. However, it shoots well, and with practise, maybe it’ll even shoot better than before!
Photos to go up later tonight of the new setup.
