Last night’s training was pretty straightforward. Shooting on lines. Geoff is still worried that I’m holding too long and I’m agreeing with him. But I think I just need more practise with the shot plan; it’s too unfamiliar right now and I keep seeing small variations from how I ought to do it; and then I have to break out of the shot and start over, which costs time – a limited resource in competitions 🙁
Shot barefoot again. Geoff doesn’t think it’s such a good idea. Neither do I – I remember shooting like this in UCD – but I didn’t have thin enough socks. Must get some more to avoid laundy day nixing my competitions!
The WTSC Open is this weekend. Lots of running around range officering, organising medals and so on, but I’m hoping to shoot a 560 anyway.
